Model Make-Up Looks

Make-up artists Nicole Abela and Sarah Curnow share tips on how to get the hot SS12 Wild Card make-up looks of BE campaign models Joanna and Liesse.

NICOLE ABELA for LIESSE:

The inspiration for Liesse's make up came from the look of peacock feathers! It's the combination of cool turquoise and green colours infused togther!

EYES
Colour 1: M.A.C eyeshadow in LUCKY GREEN applied all over lid, up to brow bone and inner corner of eye and bottom lash line.
Colour 2: NAPOLEON Eye Patrol eye shadow in Private Ocean applied to 3/4 of the lid starting from outer corners and blending into the green.
Colour 3: Black eye shadow to give a little bit of definition in the socket
Finished with black eyeliner top and bottom and plently of black masacara

LIPS
KIT COSMETICS - Freedom Fighter (vivid coral)

HOT TIP!
Keep the BASE really natural with a light bronzing on the cheeks, giving all the attention to the colour on lips and eyes! Don't be afraid to colour block with makeup too for a high fashion look!

SARAH CURNOW for JOANNA:

For this shoot the look was bold but natural.

SKIN
For Jo's skin I used a Porcelain base foundation with a light powder to counteract the slight shine. The blush is a burnt orange and was also used to highlight contours.

EYES
Jo has almond eyes so I used black eyeliner on the outer corners of her eyes and did a slight smokey eye shadow look to add depth. She has natural long lashes so I used volumising mascara heavy on top and light on bottom.

LIPS
On her lips I used a Burnt Orange lip liner, with red lip stick and topped it off with a light pink gloss.
